This amazing palm oasis canyon is located
in Baja California, Mexico.
Arturo Loya, co-owner of Guadalupe Canyon, has private campsites with
your own private hot tub filled with pure, clean mineral
water. (water is not treated with chemicals) Temperature of
water can be adjusted from 85 to 105 degrees. Palapa (shelter
made of palm leaves), fireplace or bar-b-que pits, table, and
hose with hot running water come with each campsite. Eight deluxe
campsites are available, each is private, secure, clean and quiet.
Flush toilets are nearby.
Most campsites can accommodate
parking for two cars. Holiday weekends are our busiest times.

U.S. citizens need to present either (a) a passport, passport card (scheduled to be in full production beginning in July 2008), or WHTI-compliant document; or (b) a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, along with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate.
LATER:
On June 1, 2009, the U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land and sea phase of WHTI. The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or WHTI-compliant document.
FEDERALES:
Travelers to Guadalupe Canyon will encounter 2 or more Federales (Mexican Army) check points.
The Soldiers are in uniform and carry assault rifles. They are
looking for the illegal guns and drugs. They may want to look
in your car. Be polite and you will soon be on your way. I have
never had any reports of unprofessional behavior by the Federales.
WARNING: VEHICLES RETURNING FROM MEXICO WITH HEAVY AMOUNTS OF MUD MAY BE NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE US.
WARNING: PALM LEAVES ON PALAPA ROOFS ARE DRY AND DANGEROUS. RENTERS ARE EXPECTED TO PAY FOR DAMAGE CAUSED FROM THEIR OUT OF CONTROL CAMP FIRE, LANTERENS OR CANDELS.
